Celebrating Pride: Partnering with myGwork to Champion LGBTQ+ Inclusion in the Workplace

As we come to the end of Pride Month, I want to highlight our meaningful partnership with myGwork, a cornerstone member of our AMS D&I Alliance. Recently, I had the pleasure of recording a video with Aasha Tikoo, Director of Strategic Partnerships at myGwork, where we discussed the vital role myGwork plays in fostering LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace.

myGwork collaborates with global businesses to help attract and retain LGBTQ+ talent, offering a range of consulting services to promote inclusive workplaces. Despite the progress made over the past two decades, the LGBTQ+ community, particularly the Transgender community, faces increasing global backlash.

In the U.S., for instance, 29 states still lack laws prohibiting job discrimination based on sexual orientation, and in 33 states, the harmful practice of conversion therapy remains legal​ (Psychology Today)​ .

Given these challenges, the work of organisations like myGwork is more crucial than ever. They not only advocate for equality but also provide essential support and resources to businesses striving for inclusivity.
